| I usually don't hate the rain, but I especially hated it this morning. The spot where I usually park my car turned muddy and I couldn't get enough traction to move my car out. I eventually had to get my roommate to help tow my car out of the mud. At this point, I was 5 hours late to work. Mud just sucks!

| I recently purchased this basketball hoop since it was on sale and also to help me get some needed exercise. The only problem is I'm just not motivated enough to build it. Such is my dilemma.

| 2007 Recap
2007 was a good year overall for me. So many things happened
that I’m still trying to remember it all, but here are the highlights:
- New
Job – I got my first full time job working for a startup and have been
there for about a year. Things seem to be going well since they liked me
enough to give me a raise.
- Best
Man Speech – I was the best man at Ben’s wedding which meant I had to give
a speech. I was pretty nervous giving it in front of this family and
friends, but somehow I managed. Here’s a link if you want to see it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LEqy8aUkTmY
- New
Apartment – With my new job in Mountain
View, it was time to move to a place closer to
work. I’ve settled in an apartment in Milpitas.
- SkiTrip2K7
– I was glad the annual ski trip organized by Dave returned. It was fun
reconnecting with old acquaintances and meeting some new people on the
trip.
- First
Traffic Ticket – This was one of the downers for the year and a total
waste of time. I got ticketed for running a stop sign that I didn’t see at
2AM. I tried fighting it but eventually lost my case.
With all the things that happened to me in 2007, I’ve gotten
to know so many more people with the majority of the people coming from my
current job. One goal for the new year is to try and maintain those relationships
and hopefully find that special person out there. I’m looking forward to 2008
by hopefully finding ways to improve my life and others close to me.

| I just won my fantasy football league at work. Below is what my roster for my championship team. From the roster, you can see I got pretty lucky.

| After going through 2 air mattresses that have sprung leaks, I've come to the conclusion that they are garbage. Now I have a futon I bought from IKEA. Assembling the frame involved hammering a lot of wooden pieces together which was not fun and took forever to do. However after fully assembled, it does feel quite comfy.
